Fluttering my eyes open, it takes me a moment to remember Iâm in my own bed, after the ordeal that was last night. Lifting up, I listen for a moment wondering if I still have company downstairs.
I go to the bathroom then pad slowly downstairs, the smell of bacon drifts through the room and voices echo from the kitchen. Guess theyâre still here then.
âMorning, baby girl.â Jordy smiles at me when I enter the kitchen. Heâs shirtless, they all are, he has on dark pants with bare feet, looking edible as always. Bass looks over his shoulder from where heâs cooking bacon to smile at me, his tattoos are on full display across his back and arms, the need to run my fingers over every single one is so strong. Cass leans over the bench handing me a glass of orange juice, winking for effect while I softly shake my head.
King enters looking all surly and sexy as hell in gray sweatpants that ride low on his hips.
âPrincess.â his gaze drifts from my eyes down my body to the shirt I'm wearing with booty shorts.
âMake yourselves at home,â I say.
âWe did,â Bass says, placing bacon on a plate. I snort out a laugh trying my best to cover it, but Iâm too slow, they all give me strange looks while continuing to cook breakfast.
âSit, pup, eat,â Cass says, directing me to a chair while Bass places a plate in front of me with bacon, eggs, and French toast, it smells amazing.
âThank you,â I say. It's impossible to not be polite. They all take a seat around the table, itâs really hard to concentrate on eating while they have so much skin showing.
âYou okay, mamas?â Bass asks, raising an eyebrow while he pops some bacon in his mouth.
âDid you guys lose your shirts?â I ask, shoving my fork into the bacon and taking a bite.
They all laugh while trying to keep it together, Jordy is the first to speak, recovering from his fit of laughter first.
âBaby girl, itâs nothing you havenât seen.â
âIâm aware, but still,â I say, raising my eyebrows so I don't have to say it out loud.
âWait.â King smiles. âAre you saying you donât want us to be shirtless in front of you?â
âYes,â I say, running my fork over my food. âThat's exactly what I'm saying.â
Puzzled looks adorn their faces and Iâm aware of how bizarre that sounds since weâve done some rather explicit things, but regardless, Iâm still pissed at them, and itâs distracting as hell. My head steadily thumps as I watch them watch me. They donât move, donât say a word, but they donât need to. I can hear it loud and clear.
Iâm theirs. No matter what.
